Family & Friends Games (“FF&G,” “we,” “us”) is a private, invitation-only site for running fantasy sports pools among family and friends. This page describes our text message (SMS) notification program in full.
Program name: Family & Friends Games game notifications.
What we send: draft start reminders, on-the-clock alerts during live drafts, pick deadline reminders, and pool results and standings updates. These messages are transactional and account-related. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
Who receives them: only signed-in members who have provided their own mobile number and given express written consent in their profile settings. We do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists.
Message frequency: you will receive up to 10 messages per month, mostly during live drafts and around pick deadlines.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone plan.
How to opt in
Text messages are off by default. Consent is collected inside the app, after you sign in — it is never assumed, and it is never a condition of playing. To turn texts on:
- Sign in at familyfriendsgames.com and open Profile → Edit.
- Under Notifications, switch on Text message notifications. A consent dialog opens.
- Enter your mobile number and check the consent box. Both are required — the confirm button stays disabled until you have done both.
The consent box reads, in full:
“Yes, I would like to receive automated text messages from Family & Friends Games about draft reminders, on-the-clock alerts, pick deadlines, and pool results. I understand I will receive up to 10 messages per month.”
The same dialog states the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, how to stop messages, and links to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Consent to receive texts is not required to play, and we record the date and wording of the consent you agreed to.

How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from us to unsubscribe at any time. We will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending texts to your number. You can also turn off Text message notifications on your Profile page at any time — either method works, and neither affects your ability to play.

Privacy
We do not share your mobile phone number. Mobile numbers collected for text message notifications are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. Your number is used solely to send you the game notifications you opted into. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and your device.
